Update your business details and other settings here.
Merchant name is your company/place of business's name. Merchant name will not appear on Papaya's interface for customers. URL is the address use to find all your outlets. This URL will direct to all your outlets to select on Papaya. Country is by default the location of your business.
Team
Manage and invite team members to have access to Papaya.
To add team member click on "+ Invite Member" and fill in the First name, last name, Email, select Outlets, and Role (level of access) accordingly. There are three levels of access - Staff, Manager, and Admin.
Staff - will be able to access Orders, Menu, and Channels
Manager - will have access to Orders, Menu, Channels, Insights and More (Report & Documentations)
Admin - will have access to all the features. We recommend to grant this access to owner(s) and operation manager
Suggestions: We recommend owner(s) to have Admin access to view Insights and restaurant manager to have Manager access to access functions in Settings.
Once your team member is added, a confirmation email from Papaya will trigger to their inbox. Ensure your team member can access the email inbox on the device that they wish to use to access Papaya. Open the email from Papaya, click Confirm Email and Papaya dashboard will automatically appear on the device. Ensure that email account is signed in on Google Chrome as it is the ONLY web browser that supports Papaya.
Important note: Pending Invitations are list of member(s) who has not confirm email sent from Papaya. Please note that the link in the email will be valid for 24 hours. After 24 hours, you will need to delete and re-invite your team member and another email will be triggered.
Outlets
Outlets
This is a place to manage your outlets and POS connections. Click on the pencil on the the right to update and edit your outlet details.
Add outlet to enter the details of your outlet.
Name - outlet name (this will appear on customer's view on Papaya).
Address - address of your outlet.
Phone number - contact number of your outlet.
Website - website of your outlet.
Logo - upload 1:1 aspect ratio logo that will be on customer view
Cover photo - upload a 1:1 aspect ratio, PNG, JPG, JPEG, and not more than 10 MB image for customer view.
Ordering channels - select your preferred ordering channel for your outlet. Unselect the the option if you wish to remove any channel(s).
POS connection - Select Direct Printing.
POS register no. - if your POS is registered, fill in the registration number.
Opening hours - select service day and input the opening/closing hours of your outlet. You may add opening/closing hours to the day by clicking the plus icon. Click on the copy and paste icon to copy and paste the opening/closing hours to all the others days.
Service charge % - fill in the amount of service charge (if applicable).
Tax outlet name - name of your outlet as registered on VAT Registration Certificate.
Tax branch - specify the status of your branch outlet name (e.g. Head Office).
Tax ID - input the outlet's tax ID number.
Tax inclusive - move the toggle to the right position if you prefer to include tax to each item on the menu. Once tax inclusive is activated, 7% tax will automatically be included in each item on the menu.
Payment provider - select the payment provider for the outlet, input the Merchant ID, Ksher private key and sub Merchant ID if applicable. Follow the steps setting up Ksher.
Payment method - will automatically appear if Ksher private key is input correctly.
Ordering
Direct Printing
Add printers and configure direct to printer groups
Printers - this is list of printer(s) you have at your outlet. Papaya team will Add Printer(s) on your Papaya dashboard as per your requirement(s).
Printer groups - once the printer(s) are added by Papaya team, you must Add Printer Group(s). Each printer group will specify the document type (ticket or receipt) to be printed. Name your printer group, select the corresponding printer(s) for your printer group and select the document type accordingly.
You will need to ensure that each menu item must be linked to a printer group. Do note that there can be more than one printer group selected for each menu item. Any menu item(s) that are not linked to a printer group will not be printed to the corresponding printer(s).
If you add a new menu and did not select a printer group, red notification bar will appear on top of Menu tap and the respective items will not be printed. Do ensure you select the printer group(s) for each item accordingly.
Options
If a printer goes offline and orders are still being placed, tickets/receipts are still in the queue waiting to be printed in the backend. Click on Reset Queue to clear the tickets/receipts that are in the queue before the printer comes back online and start to print the backlog tickets/receipts.
Important note: when a printer goes offline, it is important to select another printer group for menu items that are linked to the offline printer so that the orders can still be being printed. When the printer comes back online, Reset Queue, and deselect the backup printer group on the menu item(s) accordingly.

Payments
Online payment
Use the toggle the switch ON/OFF to enabled or disabled the payment method. Once the payment method is disabled, it will not appear on the customer application. This is useful when you want to temporarily hide a payment method. Click on each payment method to expand it and show the delete button.
