Basic inventory for menu item and option

To track your inventory for menu items and options, go to the menu or option > edit and turn on Inventory tracking. When inventory tacking is ON, item availability will be automatically adjusted by number of available items in your inventory.

To update the inventory status to available and unavailable for each item and option, go to Inventory, click on the number and select your preferred Action from the drop down list, fill in amount of added available stock in Adjust by, chose the reason from the down down list of Reason, add a note (e.g. Purchase 10 packs of coke) as optional.

If you are recording the Unavailable Inventory, fill in the amount in the list accordingly.

You may also bulk update your stocks by selecting item(s) in checkbox, go to Bulk Actions and select Update available or Update unavailable accordingly.

Once you select Bulk Update, select Add to add quantity on top of your inventory and select Set is to replace old value with the new quantity.

You can check each inventory adjustment history by clicking on the ⠇icon at the end of each row, select Inventory adjustment history to view. Action in the second column means what action was taken. (e.g. Available added). In the other column, you can see change in quantity.

If you had set a cancellation reasons for item and/or order in Settings, you will need to select and action for the items that has Inventory tracking turned ON.

What does each action mean?

  • Prompt for action is to show a modal with actions that you can select for each menu item and option.

  • Return items to available automatically is to add those stocks back to available inventory.

  • Move to waste automatically is to add waste stocks for those items.
