Built from your feedback
Over the past years we have heard from hundreds of you — owners, GMs, accountants — and asked one question: what do you actually need from your numbers? The answer came back in two parts. Sometimes you want to understand the business at a glance. Sometimes you need every line item, ready to hand to your accountant. So we built both.
Insights — see what the numbers mean
Insights is the visual side: dashboards that turn your data into answers. Is today running ahead of a normal Tuesday? Which items are quietly climbing? Which channel is growing and which is stalling? Open a dashboard and the pattern is right there — today's pace against your usual day, trends by week and month, best sellers, categories, channels, staff, reviews and more. No spreadsheets, no math. Just the meaning.
Reports — every number, ready to export
Reports is the detail side: the same trusted numbers, laid out in clean tables built for exporting. The Daily Summary Report covers a full business day tab by tab — revenue totals, every order, every payment, every item, discounts, cancellations, and the tax view your accountant will ask for. Pick a date range, download, done. When someone says "send me the numbers", this is where you go.
Which one do I use?
A simple rule: Insights to decide, Reports to document. Use Insights when you are asking a question — how are we doing, what changed, what should I push tomorrow. Use Reports when you need the records — closing the books, checking a specific bill, or handing clean tables to your accountant.
Where to start
Every dashboard and every report tab has its own short guide in this Help Center. Two good first stops: the Today dashboard — your restaurant's pulse, live — and How to read the Daily Summary Report, which explains the reporting day and the totals in five minutes. And keep the feedback coming — this is your toolkit, and it got this far because you told us what was missing.
