Guest count feature allows you to accurately record and track the number of customers associated with a table/bill. This feature is useful for tracking the number of customers served each day.
You can choose which channel type that you like to enable guest count feature in Settings. Only your staff can add and update guest count when an order is open or reopen not your customers.
Caution: Guest count are enabled for all channels except Virtual Menu.
To enable the Guest Count feature, go to Settings > Outlets > click the pencil icon to edit the outlet. Look for Guest Counting channels and choose the channel types where you want to enable the guest count feature.
For Dine-in, Prepay dine-in, and Delivery, the merchant can add the guest count by going to Edit order, click on More action, and then selecting Update guest count from the menu.
Note: Only Prepay dine-in and Delivery channels can add guest count by Update guest count menu.
For the types Dine-in, Takeaway, and Partner, Number of Guest panel will be appear when clicking Add order.
The panel will appear after selecting a table and to select table, click on Add order or select the table from floor plan. You can also update guest count More action button.
To customize the number of guests, scroll to the bottom to see the Custom box.
Click on the box and a field to customize the number of guest will appear.
The number of guests will be shown in the order details and on the same line as the channel type. If the guest count is updated to 0 or no guest, it will show "No Guest".
Note: Guest Count is in OFF position by default, you must select a channel to enable the feature.
Guest Count summary is also included in the Day Report. To view the summary go to Settings > Day Report > filter the period accordingly.
