Receipt printing by Channels

This feature lets you control which receipts are printed based on the selected channel. It helps you customize printing behavior for different order types. If no channel is selected, receipts will print for all channels by default.


What this feature does

  • Allows you to customize receipt printing by channels

  • Ensures receipts are only printed for the channels you choose.

  • Helps manage different printing needs (e.g. Dine-in, Prepay, Takeaway, etc.)


What it doesn’t do

❌ It does not automatically limit printing unless specific channels are selected.

❌ If no channels are assigned, the system will print receipts for all channels by default.


How to set it up?

  1. Go to Direct Printing.

  2. Select Printer Groups.

  3. Add a new printer group or edit an existing one.

  4. Choose the appropriate Receipt Document Type.

  5. Assign the desired Channels to that printer group.

  6. Save your changes.

Once set up, receipts will only print for the channels you selected.


Important Notes:

  • If you do not select any channels, the printer will print receipts for all channels.

  • Review your channel selection carefully to avoid unwanted printing.
