Guest count tracking lets you record how many diners are at each table. This data feeds into your reports for covers analysis, average spend per guest, and capacity planning.

How it works

  • When enabled, staff are prompted to enter the guest count when opening or managing an order

  • The count is stored on the order and appears in reports

  • Guest count is configured per channel type — you choose which channels prompt for it

Setting up

  1. Go to Settings → Outlets

  2. Find Guest Count

  3. Select which channel types should prompt for guest count (e.g. Dine-in, Prepay Dine-in)

Where guest count appears

  • POS — staff see and can edit the count on the order

  • Reports — covers count, average spend per guest

  • Buffet orders — guest count determines the total price (headcount × package price)

‼️ Guest count is configured per channel type, not per individual channel. Enabling it for "Dine-in" applies to all dine-in channels.
