The feature allow you to configure rounding for order total. You can find the four available options in rounding order total in the Settings > Outlets > Order total rounding.

The four options are the following:

  • No rounding applied

  • Round up to the nearest whole currency unit: 99.01 -> 100, 99.50 -> 100, 99.75 -> 100

  • Round down to the nearest whole currency unit: 99.01 -> 99, 99.50 -> 99, 99.75 -> 99

  • Round to the nearest whole currency unit: 99.01 -> 99, 99.50 -> 100, 99.75 -> 100

Do note that rounding amount can appear as negative when the outlet chooses to use either round down or round to the nearest. For example, 99.40 will be rounded to 99 and in this case rounding amount is recorded as -0.40.

Where can you find the rounding number?

The round amount will be collected in the order information and will be displayed everywhere that is related to the total, in order summary, digital receipt, physical receipt, and physical report.
