Daily Summary Report: Channels tab

Sales split by channel type, by individual channel, and per day — and the difference between a channel and a channel type.

What this tab is for

The Channels tab splits sales by where orders came from — table zones, QR channels, takeaway, and each delivery partner. Use it to see the channel mix and per-channel item value day by day.

The tables

1. Channels | by Type

Channels by Type

Sales grouped into the broad channel types: Dine-in, Takeaway, own delivery, and partner delivery. Shows orders, # items and Item Total per type over the selected period.

2. Channels | by Day & Channel

Channels by Day and Channel

One row per day × individual channel — every table zone, QR channel or partner separately. This is the granular view: a channel type like Dine-in typically contains many channels (Table 1, Table 2, Balcony…).

3. Channels | by Channel

Channels by Channel

The same channel-level split totalled over the whole period instead of per day.

Definitions

  • Money here is Item Total (item prices before discounts/SC/tax) unless a column is explicitly named Total.

  • A channel is what the order was placed on (a table's QR channel, a partner integration); the channel type is its category. Partner orders show the partner's name (Grab, LINE MAN…).

  • Completed orders only; Bangkok reporting days.

What this tab does NOT show

  • Partner commissions — the GP column on the Sales Summary tab, or the Channels dashboard in Insights.

  • Channel trends over months — the Channels dashboard in Insights.
