Floor Plans & Table Layout

Create visual venue maps with drag-and-drop tables linked to dine-in channels

Floor plans let you create a visual map of your venue — showing tables, sections, and seating areas. Tables on the floor plan link directly to dine-in channels, so staff can manage orders by tapping on a table.

What you can configure

  • Floor plans — create multiple plans for different areas (e.g. indoor, outdoor, rooftop)

  • Sections — group tables into named sections within a floor plan

  • Tables — drag-and-drop placement with customisable shape, colour, and name

Setting up

Each table on the floor plan is linked to a dine-in channel (from your Channels settings). When staff tap a table on the floor plan, they open that table’s order. The floor plan is essentially a visual interface for your existing channel structure.

  1. Go to Settings → Floor Plans

  2. Create a floor plan and name it

  3. Add sections (optional — for grouping tables)

  4. Add tables — each table links to a dine-in channel

  5. Arrange tables visually on the canvas

Canvas features

The floor plan editor uses a drag-and-drop canvas where you can:

  • Place and resize tables (rectangle or ellipse shapes)

  • Set table colours and text labels

  • Rearrange the layout at any time

  • Create multiple floor plans for different areas
