Queue Order Numbers

Sequential reference numbers on orders, receipts, and tickets — for easy order tracking at the counter

Queue order numbers are sequential reference numbers (e.g. P-001, P-002) that appear on orders, receipts, and kitchen tickets. They help staff and customers identify and track orders — especially useful for takeaway and counter-service operations.

How to enable

Queue order numbers are enabled through your outlet’s direct printing settings. Navigate to Settings → Outlets and look for the order number configuration.


Good to know

  • Numbers are sequential per outlet and reset periodically

  • The format includes a prefix and incrementing number (e.g. P-001)

  • Numbers appear on both hold-and-fire tickets and standard tickets

  • Staff can search for orders by number in the POS order switcher
