Inventory Changelog & Audit Trail
Every change to a recipe, prep recipe, or option ingredient is recorded with who made the change, when it happened, and exactly what was edited. Open the activity log from the item's action menu to see the full history.
What's tracked
Recipes — ingredient additions/removals, yields, and notes
Prep recipes — ingredients and batch size
Option ingredients — the ingredients that make up a menu option
How to view history
Go to Inventory → Recipes, Prep Recipes, or Option Ingredients
Click the ⋯ action menu on any row
Select Activities (or "Prep recipe changes" / "Option changes")
Filter by Today, Previous 7 days, Previous 30 days, or Previous 12 months
Each entry shows:
The person who made the change, or System for automatic changes (such as availability flipped off when an ingredient runs out)
The fields that changed, with the previous value struck through and the new value highlighted
The exact time of the change, in your local timezone
Who can see the changelog? Every user with access to inventory settings can view activity history. The log is read-only — entries cannot be edited or deleted.
‼️ The changelog only captures changes made after this feature is enabled for your account. Historical changes from before the rollout are not retroactively added.
