🛌 Cloudbeds — Hotel Bill-to-Room

Connect to your hotel PMS so guests can charge restaurant orders to their room

The Cloudbeds integration connects Papaya to your hotel’s Property Management System (PMS), enabling bill-to-room — guests can charge restaurant orders directly to their hotel room.

How bill-to-room works

  1. Guest dines at your restaurant and wants to charge to their room

  2. Staff selects Bill to Room as the payment method on the POS

  3. Staff enters or looks up the guest’s room number

  4. The system verifies the reservation with Cloudbeds and posts the charge

  5. The charge appears on the guest’s hotel folio for settlement at checkout

Setting up

Navigate to Settings → PMS Providers and enable the Cloudbeds integration. You’ll need:

  • Your Cloudbeds Property ID

  • API credentials (configured with Papaya support)

What’s synced

  • Reservation data — room number, guest name, sub-reservation ID

  • Charges — restaurant orders posted to the guest’s folio

  • Webhook updates — reservation status changes (check-in, check-out) are synced automatically

‼️ Bill-to-room only works for guests with an active reservation. If the reservation has been checked out, the charge will fail.
